Experience in agency leadership, expertise in digital project management, knowledge of all areas of interactive marketing, recruiting, team building and agency building.

The TeamBuilder Search leadership team is experienced in agency leadership, digital project management, interactive marketing, integration of interactive agencies into advertising agencies, agency building, delivery process development and high performance team building. We are experienced at a lot of other stuff too but we are trying to keep the bragging to a minimum.

Leadership Bios

Jen Wells - Partner

Before coming to TeamBuilder Search Jen spent many years working as an interactive project manager and interactive account manager. Previous to her interactive career Jen worked in the traditional marketing arena.

In her interactive career, Jen served as the interactive lead on her accounts.  Clients trusted her to recommend the best strategies and tactics to drive their bottom line. She also led the creation and implementation of plans for her interactive projects to ensure clients' timelines and budgets were followed. Jen worked closely with a talented team of designers and developers to create award winning results. During her agency experience, she helped manage the integration process to support and promote the merger of a traditional advertising agency and a digital agency.

Jen enjoys tutoring in the Columbus Public School System and her “me” time seems to always be preparing for or running in the next big race. Of course, “me” time is getting hard to find as it keeps getting swallowed up by “mommy” time. Part of Jen's ongoing commitment to physical fitness training now includes dashes, leaps and blindingly fast acts of contortion in order avert trips to the local children's urgent care.

Mark Whitman – Founder and Managing Partner

Prior to founding TeamBuilder Search, Mark spent eight years owning, building and managing an interactive firm before successfully selling the firm to a larger marketing communications company. Mark has more than twenty years of experience working in marketing and technology that includes all levels of leadership.

Mark has been recognized by Business First as a "Forty under 40" over-achiever for his efforts in business and the community. He was also honored by Columbus Chapter of the American Marketing Association as “Marketing Educator of the Year” and as “Marketer of Year”.  The Columbus Technology Council also honored Mark as a TopCat Awards finalist for “Technology Educator of the Year”.  Mark has served on many boards and advisory committees in serving his community and he has been a United Way Big Brother for 20 years. Mark lost his hair a long time ago. If you want pretty, you need to work with Jen. Mark's at that age when he is finally starting to realize what his Mom meant when she said “you are going to regret that when you get older”. Because Mark remains mostly in denial about the aging process, his “me” time often consists of training in combat mixed martial arts with Team Chitwood.
